CrossFit Coach - Part time

Part time (Mornings prefered 5:30am), Evenings/Weekend hours possible

Mountain Strength CrossFit in Winchester Ma is looking for a part time CrossFit Coach. This coach will be knowledgeable in coaching group classes, managing a group and training athletes.

 

Responsibilities (Crossfit Coach)

  • Coach Group Classes
  • Perform Intro & Personal Training Sessions
  • Design and Execute Specialty Programs & Seminars
  • Fulfill Opening/Close Procedures
  • Attend & Assist, Promote Community Events
  • Develop Content for Website/Social Media (Written & Video)
  • Other Duties as Assigned/wanted

 

Time Commitment/Work Schedule

We are looking for a coach to lead the 5:30 am classes Tuesday and Thursday. Hours can be flexible

The coach will also be able to take on Private clients as wanted/needed as well as increased responsibilities and hours later.

The coach is also able to start up seasonal specialty classes (running, lifting, competition) that are run with a Profit sharing model.

Pay

Commensurate with experience and certifications.

$20 - $30/class

Experience & Education

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6 months of coaching at a licensed CrossFit Affiliate (references needed)
  • CrossFit Level 1 Certification or higher (other fitness certs are a plus)
  • CPR Certification (within 30 days of hire date)

Preferred Requirements:

  • CrossFit Level 2 Certification
  • Additional CrossFit/USAW/OPEX Certificate/Certifications
  • Interest in assuming greater responsibilities in the future,
  • Interest in being an active member of the CrossFit Community
  • Experience with Wodify & Social Media

Customer Service Manager - part time

Mornings preferred 9am - 12pm

The Client Service Manager (or CSM) is a public facing position and is our clients first point of contact. The CSM will staff the front desk, answer emails/calls, schedule appointments, data entry into our membership software (Wodify), track billing/invoices, check in on clients, send birthday cards and help with event planning/staffing. Other duties may include store inventory and back room supply.

The ideal candidate is comfortable calling members, empathetic, and enthusiastic. The CSM will staff the front desk during working hours and handle questions from members and potential clients. 

 

Responsibilities (Customer Service Manager)

  • Manage all aspects of client communication at MSCF
  • Manage daily schedules and make sure coverage is taken care of
  • Manage communication with members, coaches, and Rich to make sure that issues are addressed in a timely fashion
  • Manage “enrollment” and contact folks who haven’t been in recently to try and get them back in
  • Manage new member experience and ensure that people are being on-ramped efficiently
  • Field questions about the gym from walk-ins, phone calls, current members, etc.
  • Manage facebook and other social media outreach
  • Manage newsletter
  • Manage store/stock
  • Manage back-room stock of cleaning supplies, etc.
  • Manage monthly challenges/events
  • Other duties ad hoc as necessary.

 

Time Commitment/Work Schedule

 

We are looking for someone to staff the front desk Monday through Friday 9am - 12pm. Hours can be flexible (such as 10 - 1pm)

 

Pay

 

Commensurate with experience.

 

$15 - $20/hour
